Description

The fan blows fresh air to the bottom of the excavation or draws stale air out. Connected to a duct, it brings the air exactly where the crew works, even at the bottom of a narrow manhole.

The FA-8 is the lighter of the two models: 16 lb, built-in handle, polyethylene housing that resists corrosion, chemicals and UV. Its enclosed 1/3 hp motor moves 1,100 CFM on a 115 V outlet.

Ventilation does not replace testing: check the air with a gas detector before entry and during the work. Say in your request if you need a duct, and see the FA-12 for more airflow.
