Jigsaw

A jigsaw cuts with a short blade that moves up and down. It follows a curve as easily as a straight line, which makes it the tool for the cuts a circular saw cannot make.

Renters use it to open a countertop for a sink or cooktop, cut an opening in a panel, fit trim or shape a piece of wood on a renovation job.

It plugs into a standard 110 V outlet. Plan blades suited to the material and ask the advisor which ones come with the tool.
