A reversible plate compactor moves forward and backward without being turned around. It compacts thicker lifts of backfill than a one-way plate.

It is rented to compact backfill around foundations and in trenches, and the granular base of a driveway or parking area.

It is the smallest reversible size in the series and handles well in tight areas. Plan for a trailer or a pickup with a ramp.
