Double shovel

A post hole digger has two blades that open and close like tongs. You drive it into the ground, spread the handles and lift the soil out without widening the hole.

It is rented to set posts for a fence, porch, pergola or mailbox, or to plant stakes.

Manual tool. In rocky soil or for many holes, the powered auger in the catalogue is faster. Have underground utilities located before digging.

Add it to your request; an advisor sends you the quote.
