Towable ground thawer

A ground heater warms a fluid that circulates through hoses laid on the ground under insulated blankets. The heat works into frozen soil or keeps a slab at the right temperature.

Contractors rent it in winter to thaw ground before digging or pouring a footing, to cure concrete in the cold or to remove frost under a slab.
