A framing nailer drives large framing nails in one shot. It replaces the hammer for assembling studs, joists and rafters, at a much faster pace.

It is rented to build walls, an addition, a garage, a shed or a deck, or to lay a subfloor.

It comes in a coil or strip version: say which one you want. Plan a compressor and hose; nails are sold separately and must match the magazine type.
