A radiant heater does not heat the air first: it warms the people, materials and surfaces in front of it directly, much like the sun. Drafts and wind take little away from it.

The thermostatic version regulates heat to the set temperature, which avoids overheating and saves propane. It is rented for a job site, garage or warehouse heated over several days.

It runs on propane and connects through a hose. Plan for good ventilation.
