A radiant heater does not heat the air first: it warms the people, materials and surfaces in front of it directly, much like the sun. Drafts and wind take little away from it.

Its vertical burner, protected by an expanded-metal cage, radiates all around. It is rented to heat part of a job site, a garage or an open warehouse.

It runs on propane and connects through a hose. Plan for good ventilation.
