Direct-fired heater (propane) 60,000 BTU/h

A direct-fired heater blows air straight across the flame: all the heat it makes stays in the space, but so do the combustion gases and moisture. It suits open or well-ventilated areas.

This compact Martin unit has a handle and is carried with one hand. It is rented to heat a garage, a temporary shelter or a corner of a job site.

It runs on propane: in the photo, a hose with a regulator connects it to the cylinder, and a power cord is visible. Plan for good ventilation.
